Since opening the doors April 2, 1984, Murphy's has strived hard to keep its place as one of Boulder's favorite neighborhood restaurants. Started by Bruce Westhusin, the restaurant was one of very few north of Pearl Street and over 18 years established itself as a Boulder legend. In May of 2001, being a long time employee and friend, I saw an opportunity to continue the tradition and purchased Murphy's. Growing up in Boulder, I have seen the town go through quite a bit of change. Watching the local restaurant scene evolve had been very exciting. Food is being prepared fresher and more creatively than ever before. We too have joined this trend but have not forgotten the secrets of our success. Our goal has always been to provide creative and consistent food in a warm and friendly atmosphere. When you look around you may see customers from different tables visiting with each other. APPETIZERS
  Poblano Shrimp Rolls 8.50
  Deep-fried wonton skins wrapped around a mix of tiger shrimp, roasted poblano chilies, black beans, melted jack cheese and Mexican spices. Served with tangy chipotle sauce for dipping.
  Greek Quesadilla 6.95
  A large flour tortilla topped waith fresh tomatoes, red onion, kalamata olives, spinach and melted feta cheese. Served with creamy cucumber-dill sauce.
  Monster Nachos 6.95
  Multi-flavor tortilla chips topped with vegetarian refried beans, melted cheddar-jack cheese, fresh tomatoes, green chilies, and jalapenos. Sour cream and guacamole, add .85 each. With ground beef or chicken add 2.95
  Beer Battered Onion Rings 5.25
  Beer battered and fried golden brown, served with ranch dressing.
  Potato Skins 6.95
  Hallowed out baked potato skins fried and topped with melted cheddar jack cheese and diced green onions. Served with sour cream and picante. Add bacon 1.00
  Spicy Spinach and Artichoke Dip 7.25
  Murphy's own recipe with a mixture of spinach, sour cream, artichokes, jalapenos and cream cheese. Served with focaccia bread, carrots and celery.
  Chicken Quesadilla 7.50
  A large flour tortilla topped with marinated char-broiled chicken, fresh pico de gallo and cheddar-jack cheese.
  Hot Wings 8.25
  Spicy chicken wings served with Murphy's North Carolina Hot Wing Sauce. You can choose hot or extra hot.
  Mini Burrito 4.75
  Mexican spiced ground beef and refried beans folded in a flour tortilla. Topped with green salsa and cheese.

SANDWICHES
All burgers and sandwiches are served with a choice of French fries or fresh salad. Substitute caesar salad or onion rings for just a dollar more.
  Murphy Burger 7.50
  Only the best meat available whether beef or buffalo, served on a fresh bun. Buffalo half pounder 8.75. Choice of cheese, add .85
  Specialty Burgers 8.25
  Black Angus third pound beef $8.25, Buffalo half pounder $9.50. MUSHROOM: Mozzarella, sauteed mushrooms. BARBEQUE: Bacon, cheddar, BBQ Sauce. BACON CHEESE: Swiss, cheddar, bacon.
  Garden Burger 7.50
  Vegetables and whole grains blended together in a meatless patty. Topped with mozzarella cheese and sauteed mushrooms, on a sesame bun.
  Salmon BLT Club 9.50
  Grilled Atlantic salmon topped with smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato and chipotle-mayo on toasted focaccia bread.
  Grilled Ham & Swiss 8.50
  Thinly Sliced pit smoked ham piled high on toasted light rye, with melted Swiss cheese, grilled onions and dijonnaise sauce.
  Mr. Bob's Steak Sandwich 9.75
  Thinly sliced USDA choice beef charbroiled and served on garlic bread with tomato and fresh bernaise.
  Traditional Greek Gyro 8.50
  Thinly sliced Mediterranean seasoned lamb and beef stuffed in a warm pita with tomatoes, red onions, lettuce and cucumber-dill sauce.
  Grilled Portobella 7.95
  Grilled marinated Portobella mushroom served on toasted Mexican peasant bread with roasted red pepper, mozzarella, spinach and sun-dried tomato pesto.
  Reuben Sandwich 8.50
  Juicy corned beef or peppered turkey, sauerkraut and Swiss cheese, deli piled on dark rye bread. Topped with 1000 island dressing.
  Peppered Turkey with Guacamole 8.50
  Deli sliced peppered turkey, guacamole, muenster cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo, served on toasted cracked wheat bread.

SALADS
Salad dressings: Soy-honey, chive-tarragon, blue cheese, ranch, basil-pesto, Italian vinaigrette, 1000 island, honey mustard. All salads (except house dinner salad) served with a light wheat roll.
  Blackened Salmon Salad 9.95
  Atlantic salmon fillet, blackened in a cast iron skillet. Served over romaine lettuce tossed with anchovy vinaigrette, topped with artichokes, red bell peppers, capers and parmesan cheese.
  Asian Chicken Salad 9.50
  Grilled chicken, water chestnuts, chopped lettuce, cabbage, scallions, red peppers and carrots. Tossed with a tangy oriental sesame dressing and topped with almonds and sugared wonton strips.
  Gorgonzola Chicken Salad 9.75
  Lightly spiced chicken breast over mixed salad greens with crumbled gorgonzola cheese, beets, avocado, red onion and smoked bacon. Served with your choice of dressing.
  House Dinner Salad 3.25
  Fresh salad greens with carrots, tomatoes, onions and toasted croutons.
  Fiesta Steak Salad 10.25
  Lightly seasoned charbroiled sirloin over fresh salad greens with avocado and red pepper. Topped with crumbled queso fresco, fried corn tortilla strips and green onion. Served with a tangy chipotle dressing.
  Greek Salad 7.50
  Mixed salad greens topped with cucumbers, tomatoes, bermuda onion, feta cheese and kalamata olives. Served with a side of balsamic-tomato vinaigrette. Add chicken $2.95; Add portobello $1.95
  Caesar Salad 7.50
  Chopped romaine lettuce, fresh parmesan cheese, tomatoes, cracked black pepper, and homemade buttered croutons tossed in an olive oil-anchovy dressing. With steak add $3.50; with chicken add $2.95.
  Bowl of Soup 3.50
  Choose from a homemade soup made fresh daily or a bowl of green chili with tortillas.

NEW CLASSICS
  Vegetable and Cashew Stir-Fry 9.50
  Broccoli, red bell pepper, green beans, snow peas, red chilies, zucchini and onion sauteed in peanut oil with garlic, basil, and black pepper. Topped with cashews over white rice, and served with a dinner roll. Add tofu $1.95
  Tenderloin Beef Stew 12.95
  Slow cooked beef tenderloin simmered in a rich tomato broth with carrots, mushrooms, celery, corn onions and burgundy wine. Served over mashed potatoes, and a dinner roll.
  Pasta a la Murphy 12.95
  Fresh mild chiles, monterey jack cheese and red pepper cream sauce tossd with charbroiled chicken, sauteed shrimp and spaghetti. Served with garlic bread.
  Mustard Dill Salmon 14.25
  Lightly seasoned grilled Atlantic salmon topped with a tangy mustard-dill sauce. served with wild rice pilaf, seasonal vegetables and dinner roll.
  Grilled Chipotle Pork 13.25
  Marinated pork tenderloin grilled to temperature and topped with a fiery orange-chipotle sauce. Served with mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables and dinner roll.
  Steak Fajitas 11.75
  Fajita marinated steak sliced thin and served with sauteed peppers and onions, chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, cheddar-jack cheese, sliced jalapenos, sour cream and guacamole. Served with a side of picante and warm flour tortillas.

  Beer battered cod fillets deep fried and served over seasoned French fries with fresh coleslaw and lemon-caper tartar sauce.
  Chicken Chimichanga 9.25
  Fresh roasted chicken, chiles and jack cheese stuffed in a flour tortilla then deep-fried. Topped with green salsa, cheddar-jack cheese and guacamole. Served with black beans.
  Murphy's Burrito 9.50
  Charbroiled chicken or ground beef with all the burrito fixin's, in a flour tortilla topped with sour cream, cheddar-jack cheese, and green salsa. Vegetable black bean burrito $8.50
  Chicken Finger Platter 8.50
  Murphy's chicken fingers served on a bed of French fries; includes sauce for dipping.
  Country Fried Steak 9.95
  Sirloin cubed steak cooked Texas style, with steamed vegetables, mashed potatoes, gravy and garlic bread.
